Persistent memory

State that survives across sessions, scoped per user or per agent.

also known as: long-term memory
In depth

Working memory dies when the session ends. Persistent memory survives. It is what lets a Slack helper agent remember that you prefer terse answers, or a coding agent learn your repo's conventions over time. On Digitorn persistent memory is a module configuration, the keys live in a per-user store backed by the same vault as credentials.
